With all of the recent news circulating of nearly every JB fan favorite dropping this year, tis a LOT to keep up with.  This post is intended to separate tentative releases (aka rumors) from confirmed drops (facts) and does not include any of the possible 25th Anniversary collection releases or new numbered colroways. 

The biggest issue for Team S.F.S'ers is whether or not these retros (and in some cases, re- retros) will be available in GS sizes.  We have been having great luck with JB as of late with full family releases, so I am hoping we can ride this train throughout 2010.  Below is what we can possbily expect to see on shelves this year, and if you have any other news or corrections to what's here, be sure to drop a line or two in the comments section.

*disclaimer: most if not all of the below listed "rumored" releases are in this section because there aren't any product codes available at this time.  My thought is that they will all more than likey drop as part of JB's Holiday 2010 package (over the course of a few months obviously), but to be safe, I am listing them here. *hugs*

Rumors:
Air Jordan Retro XI (11) - Medium Grey/White - Cool Grey "Cool Grey 11s" - November 2010

• Speculation began: Various sneaker info sites reported news back in January of a possible drop of the CG 11s. Nicekicks.com "confirmed" the news via information posted on Korean site itsshoestime.
• Status today: Could go either way, JB hasn't released any product pictures or product codes for this model. We'll wait to see.
• Could it be (GS)? Yes, most Holiday drops from the brand release full family (a la Space Jams 2009).

Air Jordan Retro XI (11) - White/Black-Concord "Concord 11s" - November 2010

• Speculation began: The Shoe Game "They Say" Posts
• Status today: As with the CG 11s, could go either way - but my guess is that both colorways will be on shelves this year.
• Could it be (GS)? Yes.

Air Jordan Retro III (3) - White/Cement Grey - Fire Red  "Cement 3s" - Summer 2010?

• Speculation began: In August of 2009, sneaker sites began to buzz about the possibility of the colorway being released as part of the Slam Dunk Package which would also include the Chicago 2s.  Since then, we've received confiirmed information that the 2s will indeed retro, but as a solo drop.  With that said, most heads are expecting to see the Cement 3s release on its own as well, when exactly, is the question.
• Status today: Still up in the air.  Could be dropped solo, as part of a package with a different model, or not at all.
• Could it Be (GS)? Possibily, if not released as part of the Slam Dunk Package (which I think would be a limited release i.e. Men's Sizes Only)

Air Jordan IV Retro (4) White/Cement Grey - Black "Cement 4s" - ???

• Speculation began: on Niketalk, when a post featuring Kanye West rocking a pair of seemingly brand new Cement 4s got heads jumping for sneaker joy.
• Status today: No further concrete information exists at this time, one hopes that the picture of Ye serves as proof of a retro Cement 4 dropping and not of him doing a "good ass job" at finding a DS pair of OGs.
• Could it Be (GS)? Of course! Well, I hope so anyway! As with the rest, only time will truly tell.

So there you have it guys and dolls, a lot to anticipate this year.  I'm crossing my fingers that everything will be available for purchase and in GS sizes no less! Keep it locked RIGHT HERE @ Sneakherbox for the latest updates.

Kicks: Nike WMS Blazer Mid - Turbo Green/Club Purple - White

YASSS! This "fresh for spring" women's Blazer Mid recently hit the shelves at Wish ATL and I am LOVING it! Club Purple (which I'm starting to think may be the go-to color for women's releases this year) and Turbo Green come together to birth a nearly "Aqua" inspired color combo on a textile upper. The lace eyelets are surrounded by a Safari-esque print while the sneaker is finished with a purple toeguard and white Blazer sole. Retailing at a cool $75 bucks, these are as easy on the pockets as they are on the eyes.  Niiice! Give the folks over at Wish a call to cop your pair, info listed after the jump.

SBeezies: March 2010 Nike Skateboarding Releases

Damn, feels like I was just doing a post about Feb's line up a week ago, smh.  Anyhoo, Nike SB ushers in the next season of the year with, you guessed it, another mediocre month of drops.  I'm sure some of you may find one piece that you MIGHT purchase, but overall, no robocops here.  The highlights of the month being the Grey/Red/Royal Blue SB Dunk High, Brian Anderson Dunk Low, and Green Bruin.  The rest, eh, are after the jump and all are available now at Premier.

Nike Central Region's Black History Month 2010 Event

The Central Region Nike team held an event on Friday, February 26th to celebrate Black History Month to which I was invited.  With the help of youth art's organization Kuumba Lynx and special entertainment "Footworkingz" the evening focused on empowerment and unity. The night also highlighted this year's special edition BHM Nike Air Force 1 Low, which for the first time ever, released for retail.  The sneaker features the traditional Pan-African Flag colors of black, red, and green with lasered writing and symbols that also speak to the history of African Americans.  What's also great about this year's BHM AF1 is that it was designed by an African American woman, Ms Shaneika Warden.  I enjoyed seeing the youth members of Kuumba Lynx perform their poetry and dance inspired by the current state of the world and their communities.  Special thanks to Nike for organizing such an amazing event, I hope to see it continue on in the future.
